seeing the light in everything

Wizard of Oz Jr was the first conservatory main stage show at Mill Mountain in a few years and we wanted to create the magical world of OZ on stage for the kids. The goal was to make the audience feel like they were on the journey with Dorothy.

I used bright colors to create the world of OZ, while Kansas was flat and colorless like it was in the movie. There were atmospheric effects like fog and bubbles to add to the magic of the world and differentiate between the good and bad witches.
